Gifts in Wills make a huge difference to our ability to support people who are affected by Crohn's and Colitis, and to fund vital research.

Providing for any family and friends is naturally your first priority when making a Will. If you decide that, after providing for them, you can also benefit our work then be assured that any gift - large or small - will help us to make a big difference to people's lives.

Nicola's story - Too ill to work after her fifth operation, Nicola was washing sheets by hand several times each week because sores around her colostomy bag were causing leaks. When she received a grant for a washing machine she cried with relief.

Julie's story - Julie called our helpline because she was at her ‘wit's end' over her son's Crohn's. ‘If you were nearer I would hug you,' she said, after receiving the information and support she needed. ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you!'

Kathleen's story - When Kathleen spoke to one of our trained helpline staff she was so depressed that she was considering suicide. ‘I am feeling more positive now,' she said later. ‘I feel I owe my life to the lady.'

Nicola, Julie and Kathleen are just three of the thousands of people we support every year. With your help we can go on supporting people like them in the future.

Getting in touch

There is no pressure to let us know if you decide to leave a gift in your Will although letting us know will enable us to thank you during your lifetime and, if you wish, to get in touch now and then to let you know how our work is progressing.

Worried about our new working name?

There is no need to worry if you have a left a gift to National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease. This remains our registered charity name and our registered charity numbers remain 1117148 (England) and SC038632 (Scotland).
