Crohn's and Colitis UK is a vibrant national charity based in St Albans. We provide support and information for patients and families living with these conditions, known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease or IBD, campaign for better health services for IBD patients, and raises funds for research. We have nearly 31,000 members, 70 volunteer Groups and 1,000 volunteers.

Information Officer

Full-time 35 hrs per week
Salary range £21,500 to £23,500
Closing date: 5 pm on Tuesday, 8 May 2012

We are seeking a full-time Information Officer, who will work within a small team to respond to all telephone, email and written requests for information. The post holder will be expected to deliver a high quality service, which involves being fully up-to-date with current developments in IBD, welfare benefits and related issues which affect those with the condition, as well as their families and health professionals. You will need to be able to maintain accurate records of contacts with our service and to support our volunteer helpline services and online discussion forum. You will also support the development of our web based communications.
