IBD Service Standards launch

NACC has been working with six of the key health professional societies to develop a national statement of standards that NHS services should meet. The Standards have been published and are being launched at a series of Receptions – House of Lords (11th February 2009), Scottish Parliament (3rd March 2009), Welsh Assembly (17th March 2009) and Northern Ireland Assembly (28th April 2009).

You can help by writing to your MP, MSP, Welsh Assembly or Northern Ireland Member of the Legislative Assembly to encourage them to attend and to support the implementation of the IBD Standards after the launch receptions.

This web page will help you identify your representative and prepare a letter to send:

-Step 1
Select the letter you wish to write based on whether you live in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland

       IBD Service Standards Implementation in Wales
       IBD Service Standards Implementation in Northern Ireland

-Step 2
Are you writing the letter a patient or a health professional?
      as a patient
      as a health professional

-Step 3
Provide your details by entering your title, forename, surname and address.

-Step 4
Customise your letter by typing in the first sentence.  Type in something applicable to you that will make the letter more personal.  You can see how this will read in your letter in the example provided.

Whatever you type above will form the fist part of your letter, see below.

Provide your representative's details by selecting where they sit and then entering their title, forename and surname.  If the correct form of address for your representative is Rt Hon then please enter their normal title ie Mr, Mrs, Dr, etc and then tick the box below that section.
