Crohn's and Colitis UK is willing to consider applications for relatively small amounts for pilot projects which, if successful, might lead to an application for a larger project. Peer Review of Applications

In assessing all applications, Crohn's and Colitis UK follows peer-review principles approved by the Association of Medical Research Charities. For example, the Chairman of the Committee may not apply for grants, any Committee member associated with an application or applicant institution is excluded from the award discussion and reports are requested from two external referees on each application.

Crohn's and Colitis UK has been awarded the AMRC Certificate of Good Practice for its peer review procedures.
