Claire Walsh

Director of Income Generation

The Income Generation team’s remit is to enable supporters and members of the Crohn’s and Colitis community to support the organisation’s work through becoming a member, participating in events and activities, and making donations. We also seek funding from Corporate partners and Trusts and Foundations to support the charity’s vital support services and ground-breaking research.

Claire has worked in fundraising in the non-profit sector for 19 years in the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong. She has primarily worked within healthcare charities, with a career including roles at Macmillan Cancer Support, Alzheimer’s Society, Prostate Cancer UK and Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Claire enjoys working to shine a spotlight on often misunderstood or less publicly recognised conditions. She is passionate about working with people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis and using fundraising to raise awareness of the conditions, amplify the public conversation, and raise funds to expand the charities vital services.
