After being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, Gabby started fundraising for Crohn's and Colitis UK.

Gabby was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in September 2016 when she was just 10 years old.

After feeling unwell for a long time I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in September, and I think it is absolutely brilliant that there are lovely people like you who are working so hard to help people like me.

The following spring, Gabby and her friend Mia decided to fundraise for Crohn's and Colitis UK at school!

I wanted to help, and so did my friend Mia, so we decided to hold a raffle at school. We thought of the idea and organsied it all by ourselves.

After Gabby had been on a six week modulen liquid diet, they decided to hold a milkshake raffle. 20 lucky winners got to make delicious milkshakes at playtime!

Gabby was diagnosed with Crohn's last year, and your website and information has been a lifeline to me, so thank you. The girls came up with the idea to fundraise all on their own and really did plan and organise everything themselves. The funny thing is, Gabby is on a strict diet for her Crohn's so she couldn't have any of the tasty things herself!

Gabby bravely stood up in assembly to talk about what it's like to live with Crohn's. They raised £238, which is enough to fund two full days of research.
