Trustees (voluntary positions)

Closing date: Monday 26 August (midnight)

About us

We're the UK's leading charity for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

Right now, over 300,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. And the real number could be almost double that.

Because of the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding these diseases, thousands of people are suffering in silence. But they're not alone. We're here for them. And we're not going anywhere until we've beaten Crohn's and Colitis for good.

The roles

We are currently recruiting for our Board of Trustees who are responsible at a governance level for the general control and management of the administration of the Charity.

With the pending retirement of two of our Trustees we are seeking to recruit a minimum of two, and up to four dedicated, skilled and ambitious Trustees to help move the charity forward. This is a great opportunity to develop the skills needed for working at Board level. Our strong and supportive team want to widen the diversity at their table and are keen to support successful candidates.

Trustees are legally responsible for the organisation and also ensure we have a clear strategy linked to our vision.
