Join us for one of five routes around Rutland Water to raise funds and awareness for Crohn's & Colitis UK.

By taking part, collecting sponsorship or volunteering to make this event possible you can help us continue working to improve diagnosis and treatment, fund research into a cure, raise awareness and give people hope, comfort and confidence to live freer, fuller lives.

With all routes beginning and finishing in Whitwell Car Park on the North shore we have a variety available for participants to choose from and, as always, parking, food, entertainment and information will all be on offer to bring the community spirit to life.

There is a short walk to the bluebells and back (2 miles = 3km) or a longer walk along the lake shore and back (5 miles = 8km), or for those who want to go even further, a walk to the sunken church and back (9 miles = 14km). It is a relaxed atmosphere and any one taking part can stop and turn around at any time.

For the more energetic, there is a cycle route all the way around Rutland Water (17 miles = 27km) with an optional visit to the Hambleton peninsula on the way as well (25 miles = 40km in total).

At all times we will be enjoying the beautiful lakeside setting whilst making a difference to everyone affected by Crohn's and Colitis.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. Please contact us at if you have any questions regarding this event.

This event is hosted by the volunteers of Crohn's & Colitis UK's Leicester & Rutland, Lincolnshire Central, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire Local Networks. Please contact for more information or with any queries.
