Funding success for early career researchers!

Published 04 January 2022

We are delighted to be one of 80 charities from the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) to receive support funding for early-career researchers.

This exciting wave of funding is part of a scheme funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). They offered a fund of £15m from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and £5m from the Department of Health and Social Care.

We have been awarded support funding for eight researchers who are working on studies into Crohn’s and Colitis in the early stages of their careers. This funding will help us to support these researchers in their careers and allow us to continue funding vital research to increase knowledge of the causes and best treatments of Crohn’s and Colitis.
