Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson supports WALK IT

Reality TV star Louise Thompson is supporting Crohn's & Colitis UK this summer by attending one of our flagship WALK IT events.

Having recently announced that she has been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, Louise is now working with us to raise awareness of Crohn's and Colitis - painful, debilitating and widely misunderstood diseases that affect at least 300,000 people in the UK.

Because of the stigma surrounding Crohn's and Colitis, far too many people are suffering in silence - but this summer, thousands of people will WALK IT together to raise funds and vital awareness of these lifelong diseases.

Louise will be showing her support by opening WALK IT London on Saturday 8 June.

I'm thrilled to be supporting Crohn’s & Colitis UK and very excited to be opening WALK IT! It’s going to be a great day and I’m looking forward to meeting lots of amazing people who have Crohn’s or Colitis. This is going to be a big year and I’m really happy to support a charity that does some amazing work supporting those with the conditions as well as funding research to try and find a cure.

Louise Thompson,
Diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2018

It takes guts to live with these lifelong diseases and that’s why the charity is bringing people together to march through the streets of Bristol, Swansea, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Birmingham and Plymouth.
