Will you take part in Crohn’s & Colitis UK’s new Quality of Life Survey 2018? Your answers – and your essential donation – will help us improve people’s quality of life today, and build a world free from Crohn’s and Colitis tomorrow.
If you’re wondering just how much of a difference a survey like this can make, you only need to look at some of the amazing things we achieved in 2017 thanks to what people like you told us in last year’s survey.
Last year, 65% of people who took part in the survey said that they would benefit from the general public better understanding their symptoms when they’re out and about.
In response to this, we launched the next phase of our Not Every Disability is Visible campaign, to challenge the unacceptable stigma that people face, simply because IBD is a hidden disease.
As a direct result of this campaign, airports, such as Gatwick and Heathrow, and motorway services across the country have agreed to roll out accessible toilet signage.
More travel staff are being trained to better understand Crohn’s and Colitis and accept the charity’s Can’t Wait Card – meaning that people with IBD all over the UK can travel knowing that their needs are better understood and supported.
This is making a huge difference to the lives of so many people with Crohn’s and Colitis.
It’s just one example of the terrific progress we’re making together. What’s more, this amazing work has only been made possible by the financial support people like you gave us!
But, we know there’s still so much we need to do - and we need your help to do it.
