IBD Patients in Wales tell us their views on healthcare

Published 13 August 2015

A Wales-wide Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) survey was undertaken to gather the views and experiences, good and bad, of those who use the IBD service to help inform and shape the nature of any future changes.

Key results from the survey show that:

  • Almost 60% have an IBD Nurse
  • Over 20% reported being `not satisfied` with their treatment.

Crohn’s and Colitis UK are taking a leading role in programmes to improve the quality of clinical care and implementing new approaches to the management of IBD as a long-term condition across the UK.
