Connect magazine is back!

Look out for the arrival of your new issue

We are delighted to announce that your award-winning members’ magazine, Connect, is back after a hiatus in 2020. Look out for your copy on or around Friday 21 May.

It was devastating to have to pause publication last year because of the impact of the pandemic but we hope that, in the meantime, you’ve been enjoying the ‘virtual’ version of the magazine in your member-exclusive Connect Now emails.

The relaunch edition of Connect comes in a fresh format with an updated contemporary design and is packed full of vital updates and members’ stories, including:

A look behind the scenes at our helpline

The most important facts and stats from the new IBD UK report, Crohn’s and Colitis Care in the UK: The Hidden Cost and a Vision for Change

Stories from some of the brilliant participants who took part in last year’s My WALK IT, plus information on getting involved this year

A new, expanded Just Ask section offering expert insights into your questions

The magazine also sees the launch of a new strand of the Not Every Disability is Visible campaign.

Are You IN? is a call for employers across the UK to make a commitment to inclusivity, by signing up to pledges that support people living with invisible conditions such as Crohn’s and Colitis in the workplace.

In the May issue of Connect magazine, we speak to four people who have had positive experiences from supportive employers, setting a great example for how other companies can support their teams.

Thank you to all the members who shared their stories with us for the relaunch issue of the magazine. If you have a story of your own that you’d like to share with fellow members, we’d love to hear from you. You can share your story here.

In the meantime, the other good news is that you will continue to receive regular, member-exclusive content in your Connect Now emails to keep you updated between issues of the magazine.

Thank you for your ongoing support. Your membership helps ensure we can be there for everyone affected by Crohn’s and Colitis and fund vital research into new treatments in the hope of one day finding a cure.
