RUN60 2026 – Garmin prize draw - Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions – RUN60– Garmin prize draw 

1. The promoter of this prize draw is Crohn’s & Colitis UK, registered charity number 1117148 and company number 5973370, of 1 Bishops Square, Hatfield, AL10 9NE (“the Charity”). 

2. The RUN60 – Garmin prize draw is open to all registrants of RUN60 aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Charity, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the prize draw.  All eligible registrants will be automatically entered into the draw.

3. The RUN60 – Garmin prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary. 

4.Entry into the prize draw is not conditional on making a donation or undertaking any fundraising activity.

5.To enter the RUN60 – Garmin prize draw, you must register your place on the challenge on or before the 17th August 2026. 

6. The opening date for entries is 10 am on 21st July 2026. The closing date of the prize draw is midnight on 17th August 2026. Entries received after this time will not be accepted. 

7. The Charity accepts no responsibility for entries not completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, network or server failure of any kind. 

8. There will be a single winner who will be chosen by random draw, from all entrants in the draw, supervised by an independent person on 18th August 2026 ("Draw Date"). 

9. The winner will receive a Garmin watch. 

10. The winner will be notified by email before 6 pm on 19th August 2026. We will ask for an acknowledgement of the email. The Charity is not responsible for emails that are filtered into spam/junk folders. 

11. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, the Charity reserves the right to select an alternative winner. The Charity will take reasonable steps to contact the winner.

12. The Charity will take reasonable steps to deliver the prize to the winner. However, it is not responsible for any incorrect or incomplete contact details provided by entrants, or for any prizes that are lost, delayed or damaged in transit due to postal or courier services.

13. Where a prize is lost or damaged in transit, the Charity may, at its discretion, offer a replacement or alternative prize of equal value.

14. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered. 

15. The Charity reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Charity's control make it necessary to do so. 

16. The decision of the Charity regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 

17. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Charity reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 

18. The Charity reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. 

19. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Charity, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Charity, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

20. The winner’s surname and county may be made available on request and may be published, unless the winner objects to this when notified. The Charity may invite (but not require) the winner to take part in publicity.

21. The prize draw will be governed by English law, and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.  Details of the winner can be requested by emailing fundraising@crohnsandcolitis.org.uk within 30 days of the draw.

22. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will be processed in accordance with the Charity’s Privacy Policy. It will be used only for the administration of this prize draw unless further consent has been given.
