Opportunity with Murmur Research & Consultancy Ltd.

Researchers at Murmur Research & Consultancy Ltd are looking to understand more about the lived experiences of adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). They are recruiting adults living with Crohn’s or Colitis to take part in a study exploring what it is like to navigate diagnosis, treatment and, for some, experiences around stoma surgery.

This study aims to build a clearer picture of what people with Crohn’s or Colitis experience at different stages of their condition.

By taking part, you will help researchers to understand what daily life, care and decision‑making are really like for people living with IBD. Findings from this study will support future improvements to services, support, and the overall IBD care pathway.

To be eligible to take part you must:

  • be aged 18 or over
  • diagnosed with Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis within the last 9 months OR
  • diagnosed 2 or more years ago OR
  • recently had stoma surgery OR
  • expecting stoma surgery within the next 12 months.
