Researchers at King's College London are looking for people age 18 years and over who have a diagnosis of a long-term condition or have experienced a persistent symptom for a period of six months to take part in a study on medical dismissal.
The broad aims of this study is to develop a new questionnaire to measure people's experiences of medical dismissal, test how reliable / valid this measure is, and to explore how experiences of dismissal relate to sociodemographic/ clinical factors, as well as health outcomes over time.
