Researchers at Newcastle University would like to hear from adults aged 18 and over who have been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition to understand their views about how their health data is used in research.
PUBLIC study: exploring the use of the public's data in research
The PUBLIC study is especially interested in the views of those with a diagnosis of autoimmune conditions affecting their gut/joints/skin/liver. This may include (but is not limited to) inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, IBD unclassified, microscopic colitis).
The study will gather views in an online survey with follow up interviews for some participants. The survey is likely to take 10 – 15 minutes to complete and will close mid-October 2026.
There is a chance to win £20 shopping voucher by completing the survey!
For more information on the study including the participant eligibility criteria, please complete the form below.
By entering your details, you are not committing to take part, but you will be forwarded to the study website for more information. You will have the opportunity to change your mind at any time.
This research study is NOT organised by Crohn's & Colitis UK and, therefore, we cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research.
