Researchers at University of Hertfordshire are looking for people living with Colitis to take part in an online questionnaire to help them learn more about of how prebiotics, probiotics, and synbiotics affect symptoms, quality of life, and access to these products.
Wellbeing of people living with Colitis using prebiotics, probiotics, and synbiotics versus non-users.
Researchers at University of Hertfordshire would like people living with Colitis to take part in this new online questionnaire.
They want to learn more about the impact that supplements like pre- and pro-biotics have on symptoms and quality of life. The researchers would like people to complete the questionnaire so they can learn more about patient views on these types of supplements.
To take part you must be:
- over 18
- diagnosed with Colitis.
If you choose to take part you will be asked to complete a one-time online questionnaire (which will take about 10 minutes). You will be asked about your diagnosis, disease history, symptom frequency and severity, general wellbeing (including energy, sleep, mood, anxiety, and depression), and use of prebiotics and probiotics, including side effects and perceived effectiveness.
If you are interested in taking part, or would like more information about the study, please complete the form below.
By entering your details, you are not committing to take part, but you will be forwarded to the study webpage. You will have the opportunity to change your mind at any time.
