Development of a sexual function patient-reported outcome measure (sex-PROM): Partner Focus Group

Researchers at St Mark's Hospital are looking for partners of people who have had surgery for IBD to take part in an online focus group.

Researchers at St Mark's Hospital are developing a questionnaire to better understand how surgery for IBD can affect sex and intimacy. They want to ensure that quality of life is supported by healthcare professionals.

They would like partners of people who have had surgery to join a focus group. This will be an informal discussion to review the questionnaire and help researchers make sure it is clear and reflective of real experiences. The researchers recognise the important role partners play in supporting people living with IBD and it is a chance to share their views.

To take part you must be:

  • aged 16 or older
  • partner to someone who has undergone surgery for IBD, this includes fistula surgery, stoma formation, proctectomy and pouch formation.

The focus group will be held online on Monday 10 November at 7-8pm.

If you are interested please complete the form below and the researchers will be in touch with more information.

By entering your details, you are not committing to take part, but your contact details will be forwarded to the researcher who will get in touch with you directly with more information. You will have the opportunity to change your mind at any time.

This research study is NOT organised by Crohn's & Colitis UK and, therefore, we cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research.
