🎉More is more. We want to hear everything that makes you a strong candidate for one of our limited team places.
🏅A strong fundraising plan. A solid plan goes beyond simply sharing an online page with friends and family. We’re looking for a mix of creative, well‑thought‑out fundraising ideas that show how you’ll build momentum and maximise your total.
💜Please use your own words. We know it can be tempting in a busy world to rely on AI, but your words helps us really get to know you and understand why this place matters to you.
*We receive a very large number of applications for our London Marathon Charity Places. To support our staff, we anonymise applications and use an Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool to help review and organise them.
AI is used to support, not replace, human judgement. Using anonymised data, AI helps us identify key information and review applications consistently, but all final decisions are made by our Events and Community Fundraising team. The AI‑supported outputs are routinely spot‑checked by staff to ensure fairness and address any potential bias.
