Education Programme comes to Lincolnshire

Published: 03 December 2019

The Crohn’s & Colitis Education Programme is launching in Lincolnshire – meaning that even more of you can now hear from experts about a range of topics regarding Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis for free.

We know how important it is to have access to reliable information. Our Education Programme is here to help!

Already running in London, the North West, and Bristol, the programme aims to inform you about your condition. Our events are led by IBD Nurses and other healthcare professionals who are all able to provide you with up-to-date and relevant information.

The session was really interesting and helpful. I am at the stage where this is very relevant and it has really put my mind at rest. It was well-presented and pitched at the right level.

Our events are suitable for anyone, whether you want to learn more about your condition, or want to help support someone else in managing theirs.

We create a friendly, informal atmosphere for you to learn, with local volunteers also around to greet you and answer any questions you may have about the charity.

The Lincolnshire Education Programme events will be held at Bishop’s Grosseteste University.

15 Jan - Diet, Introduction to your IBD Team

18 March - Mental health and Crohn’s and Colitis, Alternative treatments

17 June - Travelling with Crohn’s and Colitis, Existing and new drug treatments

16 Sept - Living with Crohn’s and Colitis, Surgery

18 Nov - Practical Tips, How the charity can support you

If you have any questions about the programme, please email education@crohnsandcolitis.org.uk
