New Research Strategy sets out bold vision for the future
Crohn's & Colitis UK has launched its new Research Strategy 2026- 2030, setting out its ambitious plan to improve life for people living with Crohn's and Colitis today while accelerating progress towards a cure.
Developed with people living with Crohn's and Colitis, researchers, clinicians and partners, the strategy focuses on investing in research that will make the greatest difference. It is built around three priorities: accelerating research into impact, improving quality of life through evidence, and building the skills and research community needed for the future.
People with lived experience are at the heart of the strategy and will continue to shape the research we support, ensuring our investments focus on the questions that matter most.
By bringing together researchers, healthcare professionals, partners and our community, we aim to accelerate progress towards better treatments, better care and, ultimately, a world free from Crohn's and Colitis.
