NHS Highland pilots smartphone technology for Crohn's disease

A new scheme which combines the latest smartphone technology and specialist nursing skills to help improve the quality of life for people with Crohn's disease is being piloted by NHS Highland.

The innovative project allows specialist nurses to interact with patients on a daily basis to help them keep up to date with the latest treatments, track their daily health and potentially predict when they might become unwell.
