Researchers at King's College London are looking for people who feel stigmatised (treated differently or negatively, labelled, discriminated against) by close members of their family due because of having Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis.
Participants needed for King's College London study
The research follows on from a previous study undertaken by Dr Lesley Dibley on stigma and IBD.
This new study will assess whether ‘kinship stigma’ is a social phenomenon, and show how it compares with stigma from other (non-family) sources. Participation involves being interviewed by Dr Dibley in your own home. Dr Dibley is able to conduct visits across the UK and Ireland.
If you are interested and would like more information about the study, please email Dr Lesley Dibley: lesley.b.dibley@kcl.ac.uk
This research study is not funded or organised by Crohn's & Colitis UK, and therefore we cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research.
