Update from Crohn's & Colitis UK
We have taken a big decision this week. We have temporarily closed our physical office and our staff are working from home. This is something we are set up to do and our services remain open.
We are currently maintaining the helpline, membership, and fundraising phone lines, as well as our website and social media channels. For items that we usually post out to you, please do expect that there will be a delay in sending these - we apologise for any inconvenience. We are reviewing how these services are managed and we do very much appreciate your patience as we work through this.
We are experiencing a very high volume of calls and emails to our helpline; we apologise for any difficulties you may have experienced in contacting our team. Please visit our website for our latest advice on Coronavirus (COVID-19). This advice includes all our frequently asked questions about coronavirus for people affected by Crohn's and Colitis and tips on dealing with self-isolation.
We are continuing to update the information on our website daily with new guidance. If you are enquiring about coronavirus, please check the website first as this will be the quickest way to find the information you need.

Many people have also been in contact regarding the many events we organise. For the moment we have suspended local network events and our education programme. And with many mass participation events being postponed we will put updates on our website and be in touch with people directly. Thank you so much for your continued support.
Staying connected matters, now as much as ever. At Crohn's& Colitis UK we're here to give support, comfort and confidence to anyone affected by Crohn's and Colitis and we can all have a role in helping each other at a very difficult time. We're in this together, and we are as committed as ever to support people, and to share news and activities with you in the coming days and weeks.
Thank you once again for your understanding and on behalf of all the staff and trustees we send you and your families all good wishes.

Sarah Sleet
Chief Executive
