WALK IT WINS!
We are absolutely thrilled and proud to announce that we have WON the 'Best Mass Participation Event' category at this year's Charity Event Awards for our WALK IT series!
Launched in 2019, the Charity Event Awards has returned in 2020 with double the categories and a mission to celebrate the delivery of successful events across the charity sector.
It is a fantastic achievement after many successful years of WALK IT. There was tough competition with the following also in our category: Battersea - Muddy Dog Challenge, Centrepoint - Sleep Out, Macmillan Cancer Support - World's Biggest Coffee Morning, Mind - Crafternoon and Tommy's - London Landmarks Half Marathon.
With huge thanks to all of our wonderful staff and volunteers, past and present, who have worked so very hard to bring eight fantastic events to our Crohn's & Colitis UK community. Thank you to everyone who has been involved and attended our WALK IT events in London, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh, Swansea, Plymouth, Birmingham and Newcastle over the years to make it as special and wonderful as it is!
