The UK Government has announced a second independent review of Personal Independence Payments (PIP), and we want you to have your say.
Your views on Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
We want to hear from all people living with Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis and other forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) who have applied for PIP, whether successful or not.
This review covers England, Scotland and Wales and will concentrate on three main areas:
- How effectively evidence is being used to support a claim
- The use of IT and the speed and effectiveness of the information gathering process
- Build on recommendations and lessons learnt from first review in 2014.
By taking part, you’ll ensure the review is informed by real life experiences of people with IBD and will go some way to reduce discrimination within the benefits system.
Want to take Part?
If you have questions on the benefit process, our Information Team is happy to help. The service is available to anyone affected by IBD, anywhere in the UK.
