We're looking for enthusiastic event volunteers to join us at our POST RACE RECEPTION on Sunday 13th September 2026.
The reception will be in the charity village in South Shields (exact location TBC).
You’ll be volunteering alongside the Crohn’s & Colitis UK events team to ensure that our post race reception marquee is set up and ready for our incredible runners when they arrive after completing their 13.1 mile challenge.
Available on the day of the event from 11am to 6pm (This role can be covered in shifts if you are unable to stay all day and set times will be confirmed before the day.)
Be enthusiastic, friendly, flexible, fun and willing to get stuck in!
Ensure that the refreshments are replenished regularly
Ensure the venue remains tidy and will help clear everything down once the last runner has departed
You'll be outdoors for the duration of your volunteering so please remember to wear comfortable and weather appropriate clothing. Feel free to bring your own travel chair if you require one.
You’ll welcome our runners and their support crew, thanking them for their incredible support and congratulating the runners on their incredible achievement.
