Great North Run, 13th September - Post Race Reception

We're looking for enthusiastic event volunteers to join us at our POST RACE RECEPTION on Sunday 13th September 2026.

The reception will be in the charity village in South Shields (exact location TBC).

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

You’ll be volunteering alongside the Crohn’s & Colitis UK events team to ensure that our post race reception marquee is set up and ready for our incredible runners when they arrive after completing their 13.1 mile challenge.


WHAT’S REQUIRED FROM YOU?

You’ll welcome our runners and their support crew, thanking them for their incredible support and congratulating the runners on their incredible achievement.


WHY GET INVOLVED?

A fun, community-spirited day out supporting a fantastic event and cause


TO NOTE

If you are under 18 years old a responsible adult/parent must also register to volunteer alongside you and be responsible for you on the day
