London Marathon, 26th April - Post Race Reception

We're looking for enthusiastic event volunteers to join us at our POST RACE RECEPTION on Sunday 26th April 2026.

The reception will be at the QEii Centre, just a short walk from the finishing line on The Mall.

By volunteering with us you’ll be vital in thanking our amazing runners!

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

We need volunteers that can spare a few hours – so if you have friends and family running, or just want to soak up the amazing atmosphere, why not come and join us on the day?

You’ll be working alongside the Crohn’s & Colitis UK events team to ensure that our post race reception venue is set up and ready for our incredible runners when they arrive after completing their 26.2 mile challenge.

WHAT’S REQUIRED FROM YOU?

Welcome our runners and their support crew, thanking them for their incredible support and congratulating the runners on their incredible achievement.

WHY GET INVOLVED?

A fun, community-spirited day out supporting a fantastic event and cause

TO NOTE

If you are under 18 years old a responsible adult/parent must also register to volunteer alongside you and be responsible for you on the day

You'll be outdoors for the duration of your volunteering so comfortable and weather appropriate clothing is essential.

Want to volunteer for us?

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, develop new skills and make a difference to everyone affected by Crohn's and Colitis.
