Scottish IBD patients: Survey results

A survey of IBD Patients in Scotland finds that those with an IBD nurse are more than twice as likely to be very satisfied with their treatment.

Crohn's & Colitis UK are leading on delivering a programme for improving the quality of clinical care and implementing new approaches to the management of IBD as a long-term condition in Scotland.

A Scottish wide IBD survey was undertaken to:

  • Gather the views of those patients who use the IBD service to help inform and shape the nature of any future changes.
  • Highlight some of the difficulties and problems that they might have experienced and capture some of their good experiences and experiences for future development.
