Taking the IBD Standards forward in Scotland

"Better Care for a Better Life with Inflammatory Bowel Disease"Crohn's & Colitis UK are leading on delivering a programme for improving the quality of clinical care and implementing new approaches to the management of IBD as a long-term condition.

The programme is supported by the Clinical Priorities Team in the Scottish Government and Crohn’s and Colitis UK.

The objective of this programme is to develop a national strategy for IBD service improvement in Scotland, led by a national Steering Group, supported by the findings from pilots in two diverse Health Boards.

The Phase 2 Report highlights the importance of IT initiatives to deliver high quality care.
